In the gourmet restaurant, Maximilian Lorenz concentrates entirely on local dishes - and develops them into culinary delights.

The special feature: The team led by hostess Diana Korittkatis serves only German wines to accompany the menus and individual courses in the restaurant. In addition to German wines, guests at "heinzhermann" have an international selection of more than 1,200 good positions. Maximilian Lorenz's credo: "Aromatics that inspire! We take our guests on a culinary journey that they should remember for a long time. We live this philosophy in the cooking style of a new German cuisine. From the greeting from the kitchen to the chocolates - everything is homemade."

The perfection of the new German flavor cuisine is a success story: Just eight months after opening, the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star, which still adorns it today. Shortly before that, Gault&Millau had already raised the kitchen's rating to 17 points and named "maximilian lorenz" the up-and-comer of the year in NRW.

Familiar flavors are broken down into individual parts and put together in a new form. This results in unusual combinations and flavors.
The beverage accompaniment to the dishes is as innovative and unusual as the cuisine. Let us take you on this culinary journey! The "maximilian lorenz" offers space for 30 people - plus up to twelve at the restaurant's chef's table.


The chef's menu - for them and their guests

The chef's table at "maximilian lorenz" is a special table: it seats twelve people in an intimate setting. A large window provides a view of the brigade working in the kitchen. At the Chef's Table, only the chef's menu is served. The chefs responsible for each course bring the food to the table, explain and are available to answer guests' questions.
